GRL Motors was founded by Ian in 1981.  He started off in his parents garage in West Byfleet, but soon the 6 car garage got too small and Ian branched out into his current premises at Monument Way East.  Things were rather different then but after many renovations the building as it is today, stands out boldly in a striking yellow colour.  Ian remains the Managing Director and has a wealth of knowledge gleaned from a wide range of experiences in his working career, ranging from the Le Mans 24 hour rally to Formula 3000 racing.  All this goes into making GRL Motors the successful, customer orientated business it is today.

Richard started his automotive career at GRL Motors in 1984 as an Apprentice Technician.  In 1990 he formed his own successful company, Combination Autos, based in Weybridge.  Richard is a skilled speedway sidecar driver and travels internationally to compete.  Now with 18 years of automotive experience he is managing the newly merged Combination Autos and
GRL Motors team.
